75th Royal Windsor Horse Show 2018

9th - 13th May

Windsor Castle, Windsor

This is perhaps the most famous event of them all!

RWHS is set in the beautiful private grounds of Windsor Castle. A fantastic level and range of competition is on display at Royal Windsor Horse Show.

This is the 75th anniversary of this prestigious event. Audiences will therefore enjoy 5 star Show Jumping, 4 star Dressage and The Land Rover International Driving Grand Prix.

Five arenas will be available offering a range of Showing classes. With an extensive shopping village, it promises to be an amazing event.

The Devon County Show is what Devon is all about!

Devon’s Big Day Out it brings together the very best of food, farming and rural life, plus lots of fun, all rolled into one.

Bramham International Horse Trials

7th-10th June

Bramham International Horse Trials is one of the Europe’s leading three-day events.

The Trials take place every June at Bramham Park, just outside Wetherby in beautiful West Yorkshire. The event attracts around 60,000 spectators over four days of competition.

This annual event is both an equestrian sporting event and a social event and is considered as one of the top equestrian events in Europe.

Bramham is well known for the fantastic array of trade stands to occupy the most fanatical shopper. Find somewhere to buy everything from apple chutney to saddles, bracelets to pashminas and bean bags to wellies!

There will once again be Late Night Shopping Night on Friday 9th June where entry to the Event is FREE after 4pm. The trade stands will remain open until 8pm.

DogFest South, Knebworth 2018 promises to be the biggest and best DogFest yet.

The fun just doesn’t stop for our furry friends.

The Great Yorkshire Show

This is the 160th Great Yorkshire Show. It’s set to be spectacular!

We so enjoyed this show last year and can’t wait to return. Yorkshire is very close to our hearts.

Over 130,000 visitors and 8,000 animals make it one of the biggest events in the UK.

See the latest ranges showcased and enjoy entertainment, shopping, live music, cookery demos and even a professional catwalk fashion show. This includes a one-off celebrity special!

Bolesworth Estate, Cheshire

CarFest is a festival of cars, music and food for all the family.

This is our first visit and it certainly looks like a lot of fun.

Enjoy a hill climb, magnificent cars, awesome music and mouth-watering food. There is a packed schedule entertainment in the air and on the ground!

CarFest is raising money for BBC Children in Need by donating a minimum of 25% of the price paid for each ticket.

In addition, further profits from the running of CarFest and on-site fundraising activities also raise money for the charity.

The Festival of British Eventing, Gatcombe

This is our third visit to Gatcombe Horse Trials and is one of our favourites.

The Festival of British Eventing takes place at Gatcombe Park, the spectacular home of the Princess Royal and her family.

It incorporates the British Open, Intermediate and Novice Championships, as well as the Amateur Championship, The Corinthian Cup.

As well as a weekend of top-class eventing there will be a shopping village for you to buy your Rudds wellies, and many arena attractions with entertainment for all the family.

Dublin Horse Show

8-12th August

RDS, Dublin

The CSIO 5* Dublin Horse Show is the pinnacle event in the Irish Sport Horse calendar.

It is the ultimate day out for any horse lover, with 1,500 horses and ponies competing in over 130 classes.

This is our second visit, and if last year is anything to go by it will be busy. It is such a fun event and brilliantly organised.

There is so much to see and do. The style and elegance of Ladies’ Day. An entertainment programme designed to keep the little ones delighted and the adults jolly! The social scene is well renowned!

For the more cultured there’s the RDS Craft Awards and the spectacular RDS Library Exhibition.

The 2018 Dublin Horse Show promises to be unmissable as always. A must go.

The Burghley Horse Trials is well-known as both an equestrian, sporting, and social event.

Featuring 80 of the world’s top competitors, this is one of the UK’s top ten sporting events. Burghley boasts a spectacular setting amongst picturesque Elizabethan parkland.

Dressage, cross-country and show-jumping competitions combine to create a spectacular four-day equestrian extravaganza.

The social side is as varied as the people who attend. We have thoroughly enjoyed this event over the last two years.

This is an exclusive homes and gardens sale in a luxurious marquee with a top quality restaurant.  There is furniture for indoors and outdoors, decorative accessories, gifts and fashion items.

The 2018 West of England Game Fair in Somerset is an important countryside event and the official start to the show season.

This year the event is supported by the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), Gunstar and The Countryman’s Weekly.

This is a fabulous event for lovers of field sports, especially shooting, fishing and gun dogs. There will also be a hearty array of country food, local produce and a Game Cookery Theatre.

This is our first time at the event and we are really looking forward to it. The Royal Bath and West Showground is a beautiful location in the heart of Somerset and the perfect location to buy a pair of Rudds wellies.
